Grout Dust Cleaner – On‑site Cleaning Specialist

About the role

Nikola Energy is seeking a dedicated Grout Dust Cleaner to join its on‑site team in Lilongwe. This full‑time position focuses on maintaining clean and safe environments by removing grout dust and debris from floors, tiles, walls, and surrounding surfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and wipe grout lines and adjacent surfaces daily.
• Apply appropriate cleaning solutions following safety and environmental guidelines.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as brooms, vacuums, dust extractors, mops, and power cleaning tools.
• Inspect work areas for residual dust, report damage or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with supervisors, technicians, and construction teams.
• Follow company procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Experience in general cleaning, especially floor, tile, and grout cleaning in residential, commercial, or construction settings.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning tools and equipment.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work from checklists, and document tasks accurately.
• Strong attention to detail to identify remaining dust, stains, or surface damage.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift moderate loads for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
