EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a seasoned professional to act as a Non-Key Expert on EU‑Africa Space Policy and Institutional matters. The expert will facilitate policy dialogue, strengthen institutional partnerships, and support governance mechanisms for the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost).

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support policy dialogue between European and African space stakeholders.
• Assist in the design and implementation of programme governance structures, steering mechanisms and inter‑institutional processes.
• Provide advisory input on EU space policy and African space governance architecture, including the African Space Agency and regional bodies.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, innovation initiatives and private‑sector engagement within the partnership.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and recommendations for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related discipline.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• At least 4 years of experience with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks, inter‑institutional dialogue, or programme governance.
