Technical Advisor I – Resource Mobilization and Asset Management

About the role
The Technical Advisor I – Resource Mobilization and Asset Management will provide expert guidance to strengthen producer organisations, enhancing their capacity to mobilise resources, manage assets efficiently and achieve financial sustainability. The role supports country programme teams in delivering high‑quality interventions that improve livelihoods for poor and vulnerable communities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies, standards, tools and best practices for resource mobilisation and asset management, integrating gender, youth inclusion and resilience.
- Provide technical assistance to country teams and partners on financial sustainability models, resource mobilisation strategies and asset management systems.
- Contribute to the design and development of proposals, concept notes and full proposals, embedding financing strategies and sustainable asset‑management approaches.
- Strengthen capacity of staff, partners and producer organisations through training curricula, workshops and coaching on financial management, asset tracking and resource mobilisation techniques.
- Facilitate access to financial resources by supporting the preparation of bankable proposals, investment plans and linking with donors, financial institutions and private‑sector investors.
- Collect, analyse and use financial and operational data to monitor asset performance, resource utilisation and return on investment, documenting lessons learned for adaptive management.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with governments, donors, private sector and financial institutions while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in resource mobilisation, asset management or financial sustainability for producer organisations or similar entities.
- Strong background in designing and drafting development proposals and concept notes.
- Experience in capacity‑strengthening, programme monitoring and evaluation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with web‑conferencing applications.
- Familiarity with information and budget management systems.
