Security Control Centre Manager

About the role

The Security Control Centre Manager leads the National Control Room (NCR) to ensure uninterrupted monitoring, rapid incident escalation and seamless client hand‑over. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery and stakeholder management across a high‑availability security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 100% operational continuity of the NCR infrastructure, including backup power, redundant ISP links and fail‑over server clusters.
• Define and enforce SOPs for alarm monitoring, incident escalation and emergency dispatch, driving down response times.
• Oversee hardware deployment, firmware updates, security patching and database/biometric integrity in line with data‑privacy regulations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deliver training programmes for client onboarding and dashboard adoption.
• Act as technical escalation point for key accounts, collaborate with HR, Finance and MSS Operations, and manage project costing and margins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum three years of middle‑management experience in electronic security, ICT or telecommunications.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale integrated security or technology projects.
• Good understanding of project costing, margins and financial reporting.
• High integrity, strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills and a customer‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Risk360, Instacom, Geotab, Securysat or HikCentral.
• Familiarity with alarm panels such as IDS, Paradox, Cellsecure, FSK, Hikvision and Dahua.
• Deep knowledge of VLAN tagging and QoS configuration for secure video streaming.
• Ability to configure edge AI analytics (Tripwire, Loitering, Heatmaps) to reduce false positives.
