Corporate Audit Manager

About the role

FINCA Impact Finance is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead internal audit activities across its subsidiary and network. The role provides independent, objective assurance and consulting to improve risk management, control, and governance processes, aligning audit work with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor risk‑based audit plans for the subsidiary and coordinate with the global audit team.
• Oversee execution of audit assignments, ensuring timely completion of performance, operational, financial, IT and compliance audits.
• Provide consulting services and recommendations to senior management based on audit findings.
• Supervise and mentor internal audit staff, fostering professional development and adherence to IIA standards.
• Maintain compliance with The IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards and uphold ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably within financial services or micro‑finance institutions.
• Strong understanding of risk‑based audit methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusive banking values.

Required skills

• Internal audit techniques and standards (IIA).
• Risk‑based audit planning and execution.
• Knowledge of financial, operational, IT and compliance audit areas.
