Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will support Business Units in building and sustaining a strong compliance culture across the organisation. You will work closely with the Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Officer and the Head of Compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are embedded in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Business Units in establishing a consistent operating framework for identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting compliance risks.
• Support the AML Officer in embedding AML/CTF requirements and conduct second‑line monitoring and assessments.
• Report compliance breaches to the Head of Compliance on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Maintain and improve AML/CTF policies, procedures and related documentation.
• Provide compliance reporting, analyse suspicious activity reports and investigate AML/CTF incidents.
• Maintain a register of all internal and external incidents and support tool enhancements for monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor the performance of the compliance programme, recommend improvements and ensure alignment with applicable legislation and regulations.
• Deliver general compliance awareness, AML/CFT and refresher training sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) with focus on Economics and Law.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage complex regulatory environments.
• Competencies such as action orientation, stakeholder balance, financial acumen, trust building, interpersonal savvy, complexity management, process optimisation and persuasive communication.
