About the role
The Accounts Administrator will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely reporting for the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Receipting and banking of all funds collected.
- Preparing daily cash reconciliations and cash books.
- Petty cash administration and reconciliations.
- Fleet and fuel management, including reconciliations and vehicle usage reports.
- Processing journals and supporting audit activities.
- Assisting in the processing of payables and operational payments.
- Book‑keeping and preparation of tax returns.
- Inventory management and control.
- Maintaining fixed‑asset registers.
- Assisting in audits and resolving queries.
- Preparing branch management accounts and maintaining the general ledger.
- Preparing management reports.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately with financial data and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills.
