Broiler Farm Production Manager

About the role

Central Poultry 2000 Limited is seeking a dedicated Broiler Farm Production Manager to lead its broiler operations in Lilongwe. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for ensuring optimal animal health, meeting production targets and maintaining strict biosecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations, including staff supervision and scheduling.
• Monitor animal health and welfare, implementing preventative health measures.
• Manage feed and water supplies, ensuring consistent quality and availability.
• Maintain and calibrate farm equipment and infrastructure.
• Collect, analyse and report production data to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity, health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate supply‑chain logistics for feed, water and other inputs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in poultry farm management, specifically broiler production.
• Strong knowledge of biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
• Leadership ability to manage teams and drive operational efficiency.
• Organisational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Relevant degree or diploma in agriculture, animal science or a related field is preferred.
