Quantitative/Qualitative Data Analyst (Temporary)

About the role

The Quantitative/Qualitative Data Analyst will support research, program evaluation, and evidence generation activities for Partners In Health/Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo. Working closely with the Principal Investigator, Research Officer, and program teams, the analyst will manage, analyze, and present both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision‑making, policy development, and quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analysis of research, programmatic, and survey datasets, including data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.
• Develop descriptive, inferential, and advanced statistical models such as trend and regression analyses.
• Perform thematic analysis of qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and observations, using approved analytical frameworks.
• Transcribe, code, and organize qualitative datasets with software tools and synthesize findings with quantitative results.
• Prepare datasets for reporting, generate visualizations, and draft reports, presentations, manuscripts, and policy briefs.
• Interpret analytical findings and provide evidence‑based recommendations to support program implementation.

Required profile

• Degree in public health, statistics, social sciences, or a related field.
• Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research in health or social science contexts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with investigators, program teams, and external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical research standards.
