Trees Execution Coordinator (Fixed-Term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Trees Execution Coordinator for its Malawi program. The role will oversee the implementation of agroforestry initiatives across four districts, ensuring high‑quality delivery and contributing to the 2030 goal of supporting 1.5 million farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment and onboarding of field staff, including interns and district senior supervisors.
• Train district supervisors, senior field officers and assistants on program activities.
• Assist supervisors in planning, prioritising work and allocating resources.
• Monitor field‑team performance using scorecards and escalation tools.
• Visit field sites weekly, splitting time between headquarters and the field.
• Provide actionable feedback, compile weekly field reports and coordinate team meetings.
• Design and maintain data‑collection tools, analyse key performance indicators and recommend improvements.
• Manage village verification data, reconcile seedling distribution records and track seasonal learnings for future expansion.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience implementing agroforestry or similar agricultural programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate field teams.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned districts.
