Chief of Party – Multi-country ECB Project

About the role

World Vision is seeking a senior leader to serve as Chief of Party for the Every Child Belongs (ECB) Initiative across multiple countries, beginning with Malawi and Rwanda. The role provides strategic direction, oversight and accountability for disability‑inclusive programming that reaches roughly half a million children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the ECB Business Plan, ensuring achievement of program and financial targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to country‑level ECB Directors and staff.
• Develop and maintain quality‑assurance systems, including rollout of a digital case‑management platform and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Coordinate with finance teams to optimise resource utilisation and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks in collaboration with global and regional quality teams.
• Strengthen government and community systems for sustainable disability services through partner capacity‑building plans.
• Manage external stakeholder engagement, including donors, ministries and local partners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing multi‑country development programmes, preferably in disability inclusion.
• Proven ability to lead senior staff and foster collaborative partnerships.
• Strong understanding of health, education, child protection, WASH, livelihoods and social inclusion sectors.
• Demonstrated financial management and risk‑assessment skills.
