Campus Director – MoRe Malawi Dzalanyama Campus

About the role

The Campus Director will lead the overall management and operational performance of the MoRe Malawi Dzalanyama Campus. This senior position ensures that all campus facilities, accommodation, offices, industrial areas and support services run safely, efficiently and in line with the 40‑year MoRe Project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise day‑to‑day campus operations, including buildings, accommodation, utilities and common areas.
• Coordinate support services such as catering, cleaning, laundry, waste management, access control and general facilities.
• Prepare and control the campus operational budget, monitor costs, commitments and expenditures.
• Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends and implement efficiency and cost‑control measures.
• Manage suppliers, contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with scope, service levels, quality and contractual terms.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for infrastructure and technical systems.
• Monitor water, electricity, fuel and other utility consumption, proposing optimisation and contingency plans.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Equipment, SHEQ and Security functions.
• Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning for campus operations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with hands‑on leadership experience in complex, multicultural environments.
• Proven ability to integrate facilities management, administration, logistics and procurement functions.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
