Broiler Farm Production Manager

About the role

The Broiler Farm Production Manager will lead daily broiler operations at our Lilongwe farm. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures optimal bird health, growth performance and compliance with animal welfare standards while coordinating with procurement and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise flock management, feeding, water and ventilation systems.
• Monitor bird health, growth rates and implement vaccination and bio‑security protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records and analyse performance data.
• Organise work shifts, train staff on best practices and enforce safety and hygiene procedures.
• Manage inventory of feed, medication and supplies, coordinating with procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement of farm efficiency and product quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Poultry Science or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in commercial broiler or livestock farm management.
• Strong knowledge of broiler production, flock management and poultry welfare.
• Ability to work with veterinary professionals on health and vaccination programs.
• Commitment to workplace safety, environmental responsibility and ethical farming.
