Video Game Composer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Video Game Composer to create dynamic, immersive scores that elevate our upcoming titles. Working remotely, you will define the sonic identity of our games and deliver music that reacts to player actions and narrative moments.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores, from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive, adaptive music layers that respond to real‑time player choices and changing gameplay.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music aligns with mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) with seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
• Organise, label, and deliver all audio files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Expert‑level proficiency with standard DAWs (Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, Pro Tools).
• Familiarity with integrating music into Unity or Unreal Engine and using audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
• Deep knowledge of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
• A fully equipped professional home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard assets.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.
