About the role
The Simulation Centre at McGill University is seeking part‑time Standardized Patients to support health‑care training. You will portray realistic patient scenarios, helping learners practice clinical skills in a safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately reenact the medical history and symptoms of a designated patient case.
- Provide directed feedback to learners when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to centre policies.
- Follow a flexible schedule, typically around 5 hours per week.
Required profile
- High School Diploma with at least one year of experience in dramatic arts.
- Background or interest in health‑care settings.
- Strong communication abilities and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and prepare materials autonomously.
Required skills
- Acting or role‑play experience.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred).

- Hourly compensation of $22.03 (performance) or $28.53 (video production).
