SAI Coordinator – Seminary & Institute Programs

About the role

The SAI Coordinator leads Seminary and Institute programs within an assigned geographic area, guiding youth and young adults in their spiritual development. The role combines people‑management, curriculum oversight, and partnership with church leaders to foster a Christ‑centered learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with area/region directors, stake presidencies, and ward leaders to set goals and increase youth participation in Seminary and Institute.
• Assess and improve the learning experience for all students, including those with disabilities.
• Develop and deliver training for stake‑called teachers, using discussions, micro‑training, observations, and feedback.
• Prepare and manage the annual program budget, monitor financial performance, and safeguard church assets.
• Adapt curriculum and create pacing guides to meet local needs; teach classes as required.
• Maintain a professional development plan and report progress to the area/region director.
• Foster a Christ‑like culture of unity, improvement, and accountability among staff and volunteers.
• Supervise full‑time, part‑time, and volunteer staff; work with HR on hiring and promotion decisions.
• Participate in regional training and manage program operations, reporting, and resources.
• Travel as needed and perform additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Current and valid Temple Recommend and adherence to Church teachings on marriage and family.
• Strong personal testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and commitment to youth spiritual growth.
• Preferred Master’s degree; Bachelor’s degree (ideally in education) with at least five years of classroom teaching experience.
• Demonstrated management experience in an educational setting.
