Rewards and Benefits Manager

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Rewards and Benefits Manager to lead the development and implementation of remuneration, benefits, performance management and workforce planning strategies across its Malawi operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Group remuneration policies, develop budgets and manage annual salary reviews.
• Administer short‑term incentive schemes and employee benefit programmes including medical aid, pension, funeral cover and group life assurance.
• Conduct market remuneration research, analyse survey results and provide recommendations on pay competitiveness.
• Lead the annual performance management cycle, from goal setting to calibration and analytics.
• Drive workforce planning activities such as headcount budgeting, forecasting, organisational design and talent risk analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in remuneration, benefits administration, performance management and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data interpretation abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
