Field Facilitator – Community Monitoring & Coordination

About the role

The Field Facilitator will lead field monitoring activities across the assigned catchment area, ensuring high‑quality data collection, community engagement, and effective supervision of Community Specialists. This position supports the organization’s mission to improve the lives of vulnerable children through sustainable development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate field monitoring, registrations, re‑registrations, household surveys, relocation tracking and awareness campaigns.
• Supervise 35‑37 Community Specialists, set monitoring targets, conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Conduct detailed household usage surveys, verify data, perform spot checks and ensure compliance with monitoring tools and ethical standards.
• Design and facilitate community awareness campaigns on cookstove use, carbon rights and grievance mechanisms.
• Prepare regular field activity reports, maintain accurate records and share insights with the project team.
• Engage with community leaders, local authorities and other stakeholders to support project implementation.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in field‑based project implementation or monitoring, preferably in energy, health, agriculture or environmental sectors.
• Experience supervising field staff and managing data‑driven monitoring processes.
• Strong ability to work with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
