Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence models. In this role you will review, annotate, and validate backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs to help improve AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and feedback on code accuracy and logic.
• Assess and improve backend security, authentication mechanisms, and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with authentication systems such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
