TSE Operator – Construction Site Equipment

About the role

The TSE Operator works full‑time on‑site in Blantyre, operating and monitoring technical/site equipment (TSE) used in construction projects. The role ensures equipment is set up correctly, runs safely and efficiently, and supports the overall construction schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment checks, set up machinery according to project requirements and operate it throughout the workday.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers, follow standard operating procedures, and document operational data.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, report problems to maintenance teams and assist with routine maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations and actively participate in safety briefings and site meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating construction or technical site equipment, preferably on building, road or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety procedures and site safety practices.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in shifting schedules and ability to perform basic inspections.
• Minimum secondary education; vocational training or certification in equipment operation is an advantage.
