Staff Associate – Philosophy

About the role

The University of Malawi invites applications for a Staff Associate position in Philosophy, responsible for delivering undergraduate courses and contributing to departmental activities.

Key responsibilities

• Teaching, setting and timely grading of continuous assessments and examinations for Critical Thinking, Logic, Phenomenology, Existentialism, and Critical Theory.
• Participating in all academic and professional activities of the department.
• Carrying out other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities with a major in Philosophy, minimum credit.
• Strong background in Critical Thinking, Logic, Phenomenology, Existentialism and Critical Theory.
• Ability to work under supervision, integrity, dependability and willingness to learn.
