Recruitment Specialist (Talent Acquisition)

About the role

ATANGANA & SONS LTD is looking for a motivated Recruitment Specialist to lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition. The role focuses on attracting, assessing and hiring qualified candidates while delivering a positive candidate experience and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department managers to identify hiring needs and design recruitment plans.
• Create and publish job ads on appropriate platforms.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals and professional networks.
• Screen applications, shortlist candidates and conduct phone, virtual and in‑person interviews.
• Coordinate interview schedules and administer assessments and background checks.
• Verify qualifications, references and employment history.
• Prepare job offers and support salary negotiations within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant databases and compliance with labour laws.
• Develop relationships with universities, recruitment agencies and professional organisations.
• Produce recruitment reports, hiring metrics and support onboarding activities.
• Promote the employer brand to attract high‑quality talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Professional HR certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Required skills

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
