About the role

CURE is seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join its Blantyre hospital. The position is full‑time and focuses on delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X‑ray examinations and other radiological procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct C‑Arm fluoroscopy procedures in the operating‑room environment when required.
• Prepare patients, provide clear instructions, and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety during imaging.
• Position patients and adjust equipment settings to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Process radiological images promptly and make results available to referring clinicians.
• Operate radiology equipment safely, perform routine checks, and coordinate maintenance with biomedical staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and recommend acquisitions or improvements.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in diagnostic imaging.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other hospital departments.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality assurance, and hospital standards.
