Partnerships Coordinator – ECB Project

About the role

The Partnerships Coordinator leads the development and strengthening of strategic partnerships that advance the objectives of the Every Child Belongs (ECB) Project, improving outcomes for children with disabilities and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government, NGOs, faith‑based groups, private sector and development partners.
• Lead stakeholder mapping, analysis and engagement planning at national and district levels.
• Coordinate partnership agreements, monitor performance, and facilitate regular review and learning discussions.
• Represent the project in coordination forums, technical working groups and stakeholder platforms.
• Facilitate collaboration among project teams, service providers and community structures to strengthen networks and improve service access.
• Support identification and cultivation of funding opportunities and contribute to proposal development.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Communications or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least five years’ experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, advocacy or programme coordination in the development sector.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing partnerships with government, NGOs, donors and private sector actors.
• Experience working in disability‑inclusive development programmes and knowledge of Malawi’s disability, health, education and local government systems.

• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel up to 30% of the time.
