Finance Budgeting Analyst

About the role

The Finance Budgeting Analyst supports the development, monitoring, and management of budgets for the National Office, Area Programs and projects. The role ensures donor funds are used effectively and aligns financial planning with program objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing NO support cost budgets, Area Program budgets, and grant/project budgets.
• Consolidate budget inputs from multiple departments and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
• Upload and validate budgets in Horizon, Impaq, Sun System and other financial platforms.
• Manage Labor Distribution Reports (LDRs), including adjustments and journal entries.
• Monitor PBAS commitments, review variances, and reconcile data with Horizon and other systems.
• Provide technical input during budget review sessions and support the Senior Analyst with reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in budget preparation, financial reporting and donor compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance, program and HR teams.
