Data Center and Systems Operations Specialist

About the role

Cinnabar Tech is seeking a Data Center and Systems Operations Specialist to lead a comprehensive "As Is" assessment of the current frontend and backend infrastructure supporting a National Registration and Identification System. The role involves evaluating system architecture, data flows, operational processes, integrations, and supporting infrastructure for a potential World Bank‑sponsored project.

Key responsibilities

• Assess operational practices and site‑level arrangements across data centre facilities.
• Conduct detailed analysis of power, cooling, environmental monitoring, and access control systems.
• Evaluate disaster recovery procedures, backup routines, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Document findings and provide recommendations aligned with international best practices for data centre operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years’ experience in data centre operations, facility management, and environmental controls.
• Proven knowledge of physical and logical access controls, power and cooling systems, and operational procedures.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup processes, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with international good practices for data centre management.
