Credit & Repayment Data Senior Coordinator (Fixed‑term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is looking for a meticulous data‑integrity professional to lead the accurate reconciliation of farmer credit and repayment transactions in Malawi. The role is central to minimizing operational risk, strengthening farmer trust, and ensuring that all financial data across systems is reliable and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality checker for farmer credit and repayment data, reconciling information across all platforms.
• Secure daily transaction reports from external partners (e.g., NBS Bank, MNOs) and resolve any delays.
• Perform daily MNO payment reconciliations and correct invalid payments.
• Investigate and resolve TNM/Airtel reconciliation issues.
• Manage monthly CLIF/Bank and receivable reconciliations, including post‑audit corrections and write‑offs.
• Conduct weekly CLIF data anomaly checks and flag discrepancies to management.
• Lead large‑scale data cleanup, including transferring confirmed farmer payments to active loans.
• Identify and resolve Odoo and Fineract issues, eliminating duplicate loans.
• Oversee payment reversals, refunds, and end‑of‑season defaulter actions.
