About the role
The Country Manager will lead the full operations of an automotive dealership in Malawi, overseeing all divisions from sales to after‑sales service. This senior position reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for driving growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across HR, finance, sales, parts, service, and logistics.
- Develop and execute short‑term and long‑term business strategies.
- Supervise implementation of financial budgets and monitor business results.
- Set annual performance goals, marketing plans, and business development targets.
- Track market trends, adjust strategies, and improve operating policies.
Required profile
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in automotive operations and management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, coordination, planning and execution skills.
- Resilient under pressure, proactive, innovative and able to drive change.
- Deep understanding of African automotive markets and business practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of running an entire automotive dealership.
