About the role
The Business Development Officer will drive growth for Old Mutual by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships and supporting revenue objectives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new business, acting on leads and taking initiative.
- Maintain and grow the assigned portfolio.
- Liaise with the Malawi Revenue Authority on contractual and legal matters related to pension business.
- Advise individual pension fund members on retirement, withdrawals and beneficiary matters.
- Produce and report on work volumes, status and contractual documents.
- Collaborate with HR on labour law issues affecting pension scheme administration.
Required profile
- University degree in Marketing, Accounting or Administration.
- Member of ACII with actuarial knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employee benefits administration.
