Business Development Officer

About the role

Old Mutual Investment Group is looking for a Business Development Officer to drive growth by identifying new opportunities, managing key client relationships and supporting the delivery of innovative solutions that align with the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new short‑term and long‑term investment opportunities.
• Create, develop and manage the corporate business pipeline.
• Maintain and expand existing business while leading market conduct initiatives.
• Manage key account relationships and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Handle customer complaints and retention initiatives effectively.
• Drive sales performance in line with targets and key performance measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Business Management.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or client relationship management.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
