GPS Tracker Installation Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled GPS Tracker Installation Technician to join our full‑time team in Blantyre, Malawi. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining GPS tracking devices on a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring reliable operation for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting.
• Configure tracking software, verify network connectivity, and guarantee that each device communicates correctly with the central system.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot installed devices to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the effective use of the tracking system.
• Document installation procedures, maintain accurate records, and update system logs as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience installing GPS tracking systems on vehicles or equipment.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring standards.
• Valid driver’s licence enabling travel to various installation sites.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities to address technical challenges on‑site.
