Business Analyst & Project Delivery Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst & Project Delivery Lead to drive the end‑to‑end delivery of Mobile Money products and services. You will work closely with product, technology, operations and risk teams to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications and ensure successful launch and enhancement of digital financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and consultations to gather and validate business requirements.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define project scopes, schedules, budgets and implementation plans for multiple Mobile Money initiatives.
• Coordinate project teams, external vendors and technology partners throughout SIT, UAT, pilot, cut‑over and hyper‑care phases.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, and prepare regular status reports for management.
• Identify opportunities for new Mobile Money products, support design and rollout of wallet services, merchant payments, bulk payments, international remittances, savings, lending, airtime and utility payments.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations, AML/CFT controls, data privacy requirements and support audit activities.
• Manage vendor relationships and integrations with banks, fintechs, MNOs, payment gateways and government systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management or Product Delivery within Digital Financial Services.
• 2‑4 years of experience in Mobile Money, Fintech, Banking, Payments or Telecommunications environments.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Professional certifications in Business Analysis, Project Management or Agile Delivery are highly desirable.
