About the role
The Legal Associate will provide high-quality, commercially-sound legal advice and support to internal stakeholders, helping to identify and manage legal risks while supporting strategic business initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely, practical legal advice on day-to-day business activities and interpret applicable laws, regulations and policies.
- Draft, review, negotiate and maintain commercial agreements and standard contract templates.
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks across the organisation, maintain a risk register and monitor emerging risks.
- Monitor regulatory changes, support compliance frameworks and liaise with regulators and external counsel.
- Manage disputes, claims and litigation matters, coordinate external counsel and provide strategic input on settlement approaches.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
Required skills
- Computer Literacy.
